Well what a day I have had in my shop, I really should do a "Life in the day of a sex shop owner"

I had had a few crank calls today, my favourite being a man phoning up to say he was the porn director Marino, obviously having met and spoken to Marino I clearly realised that this wasn't him and any doubt I may have had disappeared when he said "and I want to work with Bunny man" He then accidently let the phone go down and after a couple of minutes rang me back stating "Hi it's Marino, sorry I dropped the phone" to which I replied "You are not Marino, I know him and your voice is a poor immitation" After being rumbled he preceded to ask how I knew Marino at which point I thought "F@@K this" and put the phone down!!!

My question to you guys is if you were going to try and impersonate someone who would it be and why!!!!

More to the point, was there perhaps a sinister aspect to this impersonation? Might be worth posting on the Promos forum as well, SG. Not everyone will know what Marino sounds like.

I don't think it was anything sinister, the bloke was clearly a sandwich short of a picnic and not sure whether I would be able to post on the promotions page as not "promoting" anything.

Will speak to Marino later and see if he wants me to do anything about it.

Now that's a weird one. I should be flattered someone wants to impersonate me, Even if he's mental. I wonder what he wanted.

Usually I make my crank calls late at night after I am the wrong side of a bottle of something. But as it's you I'll make an exception and call you in the day times. LOL.
