Hi all
Thought I would leave a quick post as I have been rather quiet of late .. wouldn't want any of you forgetting about me!
I'm sat on my sofa cuddled up in my pink blankee nursing my cold

( anyone got any remedies for me?

Colds are bastards. You just have to let them run their course, take plenty of liquids and lots of vitamin C.
Oh, and keep the bogeys off the wall.

Above all else remember to eat & drink(3 to 4 litres a day-water)
Your immune system will thank you for it

Here are some good foods to eat when you're battling a cold or flu:
Bananas: Soothe upset stomachs.
Bell Peppers: Loaded with vitamin C.
Blueberries: Curbs diarrhea, high in natural aspirin. (May lower fevers and help with the aches and pains.)
Carrots: Loaded with beta-carotene.
Chili Peppers: Can open sinuses, and help break up mucus in the lungs.
Cranberries: Help prevent bacteria from sticking to cells lining the bladder and urinary tract.
Mustard & Horseradish: Helps break up mucus in air passages.
Onion: Has phytochemicals purported to help the body clear bronchitis and other infections.
Rice: Curbs diarrhea.
Tea: Black and green tea (not herbals) contain catechin, a phytochemical purported to have natural antibiotic and anti-diarrhea effects.
To avoid future colds eat loads of garlic
At the very least it will keep those with Colds away...lol

Bananas!!!!!!!! YUCKI YUCKI YUCK!!!! Why would you talk about bananas to me? You are banned from talking to me for the next 5 mins!! hee hee
I have been guzzling clementine juice which is my latest fave thing. Very yummi indeed!
I'm just heading down to the farmers market to hunt for a hot pork sandwich or an ostrich burger xx

Hope the cold has eased off today. If you're thinking about food, it's a good sign
