Alice. if it's not raining take your PC outside, take the side of and just use a small paintbrush to gently get rid of all the crap, especially round the fan, computers are really quite hardy, as for anti static gloves--forget it, just clean the fucker out put the side back on.

I received one of those mini vacuums for my PC last year as a Xmas pressie (bought from Marks & Sparks I believe) and all I can say is that it absolutely sucked, but not in a good way.
A bluebottle with asthma could have drawn in more air/dust than that bloody thing could.
It is now sitting in my loft collecting a lot more dust than it ever could when it was switched on.

Alice. the usb power is for external and keyboard cleaning etc, you swith the PC of and use the cleaner with battery's or plugged into a usb on another computer....my advice, stir your tea with it, there that good..

sensible advice but i'd be wary of touching any components
techies that used to service the computers at my workplace always advised
never touch components(fan aside)with anything
use a manual air-pump to blow all the dust
