Maybe to give the jury a better understanding of the circumstances? Of how narrow the tunnel was, and a better understanding on how dangerously close to the outside lane the pillars were? To give a better understanding of the drivers view, and how dark it may be?

There's only so much someone can describe something accurately with words or pictures.

That's my take on it anyway...

Will Diana's bodyguard (the only survivor of the crash) be giving evidence?

He's never made any public statements about the accident. Moreover, I don't think he's been allowed to give any statements to the media.
