Heard my one nicked from royal mail and is now serving 18 months he always seemed a bit iffy to me.
If you believe that your post is going "missing" then you must make a complaint to the RM! The majority of post which the RM catergorises as "missing" is in fact stolen.
Advice: Never send money (cash) or valuables through the normal post. Always use special delivery - fair enough it costs a fiver, but rather pay out that than have money stolen.
