My square brackets have returned!

I thought I'd lost them forever - but no, they've returned. They have set up home next to the 'P' key!
[[[ ]]] See, there they are all squarey and brackety.
jj, knows what I'm on about.

See? See ?????? They were probably jutst having a short break in
Juan-les-Pins.
I am the Oracle. Or possibly the Barnacle; anyhoo, I have awarded meself
several million richly-deserved Smug points.
BTW, if this occurs again, close down and reopen Windows Explorer- that
usually fixes the odd glitch with Word or the keyboard. If that don't work,
just reboot.

I thought they'd run off with the triangular brackets and gone to live in bracketland.
I don't know why they didn't work yesterday? Must've jogged something or other to make them "disappear". !confused!

My curly-brackets have just sent me a postcard from a small estaminet in
Montparnasse, where they're about to dine on ris de veau aux St. Jacques
grill?es et croquettes de pomme, accompanied by a nice '47 St. Emilion.

My curly brackets have gone off in a huff because they, wrongly, thought I was ignoring them.
