This chap would be an interesting guest to have round for dinner.It seems the thought police have stifled him because his views are considered too controversial.He suggestes that black people may be genetically pre ordained to be less intelligent than other races.

When I see the mess that is Africa I despair.When you look back in history what are the contributions to world culture that have come out of Africa compared to Asia or Europe for example?

This senior scientist should be allowed to have his say even if he is controversial.His show was a 400 seater sell out.He is 78 and a Nobel Prize winner.Yea he may be insensitive but the suffering in Africa is a disgrace,he is not stirring up racial hatred just posing a view.

I'm not sure exactly what your point is, [and many more so-called scientists
in the past have contended that 'blacks'- a meaningless term, BTW- are
'inferior' rather than the converse] but properly-applied scientific method
invloving peer-review and successful repetition of experiments usually nails
such daft canards pretty swiftly. For example, here's Wiki on the late Steve
Gould's stout critique of some of that 30s nonsense.

But may I also remind you and his accusers of the fundamental precept that
a man is innocent until proved guilty?
4WIW, I think the guy's an idiot- but that shouldn't deny him the right
