And claimed to be from your neck of the woods as well.

Very classy and versatile actress---though unable to do her own singing in The King And I (the ubiquitous Marnie Nixon). Worth seeing in The Innocents, a really creepy adaptation of Henry James's Turn Of The Screw.

Sad.

She was a good actress and a very attractive and sexy woman.

She is excellent in the movie The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp where she plays three parts.

Great film if you ever get the chance to watch it.

Yes, that's what they've said on the BBC news website.

One of the best British films. Livesey, Kerr, Walbrook all brilliant.

Check out Black Narcissus. Imdb contributors tend to criticise it for its patronising attitude to the native people, missing the point really. It's a film about pent up sexual passions. The location, while wonderful, is almost a Hitchcockian McGuffin.

John Street is a bit of a rough area now. Yes, I know West Montrose Street.

We never got our supermarket on the pier.
