Hey y'all
Posted on this a little while ago and it atracted a fair bit of interest. So just in case any one missed it on the news, see the blighter has had its first flight today.
A seriously huge accomplishment for all involved given the total lack of Goverment or Lottery help.
I for one cant wait to see the fucker. Really did start to doubt if I would ever see one in the air.
The BBC reporter came out with perhaps the best quote on I have ever heard on the "Black Bucks" raid. He said it was just to let the Argentines know they were "still in range"
If any one out there happens to see it in flight please post on here and let me know.
Cheers
BB

I hope you get to see it, BB.
I saw flying Vulcans at airshows (RAF Finningley) back in the '70s, and the noise they make really is something to experience.

On Radio 4 yesterday morning the news announcer said the Vulcan had flown in the Falklands War in 1984. Yes, 1984. It must have been a longer flight than I had thought. BBC muppet.

All of the Concordes have been disabled in various forms and none will ever fly again.

The Save Concorde Group is totally independent and has no links to any other Concorde Group in the UK : we are tirelessly working on a return to flight by 2012.
CAA say no reason Concorde cannot fly.
I believe the French Concorde's have been kept in a better "return to Flight" state though.
I wonder why there was such a rush to end the Concorde era?
After all Richard Branson offered to keep them flying but wasn't given a chance.
