Formula 1 Domain of EGOs or what?

I've never seen a sport that is dominated by EGOs

It really reminds me of a bad soap opera

Most of the other high profile motor racing sports don't seem to have this angst amongst the competitors let alone team mates

Makes me wonder why?

Too much money at stake perhaps?

It's an elite group, and humble guys need not apply. Look at Irvine, Coulthard and Button----playboy lifestyles and achieved feck all between them. As for the bosses, the make Mafia dons look like Scoutmasters.

Yes it does look full of self-obsessed ungrateful narrow minded cunts.
You would think that getting paid ?10 million a year, experiencing some of the fastest and newest cutting edge technology known to man, being surrounded by more glamour than Hugh Hefner the ungrateful cunts might actually SMILE once and a while and heaven forbid even looking like they are ENJOYING themselves.

Agreed. You don't reach the top in any sport without supreme self belief. Even the guys who seem humble are probably putting on an act for the cameras.

Oh, and be careful with these long posts Wazza, you'll burn out your keyboard!

You can have supreme belief and still respect your opponent or even your team mates

I give you the MotoGP as evidence

You don't see any petulant behaviour by Rossi as Stoner streaks away with the title in his 2nd year

So it's not egos that you have the problem with, just the attitude and expression of that ego?
