Early opinions, anyone?
And why does it soemtimnes seem to clash with UKTV History at certain
times, at least on Freeview?

Saw it yesterday. It seemed to be aimed at chaps and featured said chaps having mega-MPH fun in Bugattis, Lambos and light aircraft. All in all, quite agreeable. But maybe they should have called it ?Geezer? TV?

I thought of you as soon as I saw it.
Unfortunately they also show 'QI', so it's possibly out of most of
your friends' IQ-range.

Load of shite, pretty much the last thing I need to see on freeview is piss poor repeats of middle aged, middle of the road S. H. I. T. E. ... I have a nice wee pvr which I can set to record anything on my hard disc and this station is seriously on the road to being "unfavouritsed" even before I even view it.

Not Sky's fault that you have to pay for E4, Film 4 etc. on Freesat Magoo, blame Chanel 4/Flextech who view Sky as a rival so why should they give their customers anything for free. Basically Sky offer this service in the hope that you will subscribe to their pay service in the long run.
Thought you had a half decent sat system anyways??

CLASSIST!! CLASSIST!! The implication here is that most of my pals are working class geezer sorts - hence they must be thick. Not so, my circle of friends are mostly the entrepreneurial new money sorts - duckers and divers, and some of them HAVE got Lambos. You need brains to power your ascent up the ladder of life, whichever route you take. I find that the sort of working folk that I hang with are surprisingly knowledgeable about things in general. As well as being up to 'speed' on the merits of the latest AMG Merc, they like to discuss serious issues like art and politics ? we often talk about Iran, Zimbabwe, China, global warming and Peak Oil. My circle of pals only really differ from middleclass folk in that they are not sniffy and don't have that insufferable air of smugness and moral superiority.
