Didn't he do the Naturist films during the 1950's & 60's as a way of getting round the censorship laws of the time? If I'm right his films ran for weeks and weeks in Londons' westend as it was the only thing you legally see naked flesh on film. If it was the same one I didn't realise he done porno too...

He did a lot of 8mm films, way before video tape, which are probably best described as pin-up films.
Many made with his wife Patricia Green.
He did get into trouble with plod.
The 8 mm films, others did them as well, were quite pricy and only lasted for 4 minutes, if I recall correctly.
Is there a site giving the background to George (which was his first name)?
They were in color but I can't recall them being made for Color-Climax.

'Keeping the British End up' book by Simon Sheridan says that George Harrison Marks [1926-97] was persuaded to direct hardcore in Germany and Denmark in the late 70's for the color climax label, 'his real name didn't appear on the credits and he was subsequently unable to recall the titles'.
I was intrigued to find his daughter Josie was [now running Kane magazine] in the film 'Come play with Me'.

Yeah she is/was, Joe, but don't hold your breath as she was, and indeed played, a young schoolgirl in the company of Bob Todd....er..oh dear..you really have to see the film, and I can't believe you haven't.

There is an interesting web site called Kamera-publications.co.uk, created by Nostalgia-publications.co.uk, with a sizable amount of material about Marks that relates to his classic glamour era with Pam Green, way before he got into the euro-screwing. I have written articles about Nostalgia in SCORE Magazine over the years.
