I'm starting to see why older generations had the wisdom not to discuss them

...but what would be left to discuss, and where would forums be without such matters?

I didn't follow the argument fully. I've mostly been debating with c.j, but I'll probably read through them tomorrow.

I still think it's better to talk about this stuff than ignore it. Walked away thinking they've won, they may have, but at least it's clear to them that most dissagree, and have a different opinion. Not discussing it would just probably reinforce their own ideas.
