Lol......No such thing as a cheap Beemer, I had em all, 3,s 5,s X5, X3, and loads more, what you gain in purchasing a second hand one cheap, you loose in having it repaired and spares etc, they used to breed on our land, now-- I,m not interested in them, however there does seem to be a network of sub BMW repair and spaires shops growing, mainly because BMW cant cope with the demand for repairs and servicing, and these outlets use genuine parts and are plentiful if as Buttsie say,s you look around .
The only thing I really liked about BMW, because I mainly bought new ones, and spent a great deal of cash on then-- was thier service, they pick your car up drop you an identical one off, service yours valet it, then drop your car back when it,s ready, couldn,t fault them for that.
But buying cheap BMw,s = you need deep pockets, but wev,e all been there, enjoy it.
