Filmed where I live. Thats my local chippy he went into. (They still had that chipping machine in the background upto a couple of years ago!)

My local ones gone up from 4.99 to 6.25 to sit in the resturant they give loyalty cards out though.

Yes, as much as I wish more headmasters like Mr Grice were running schools today!

Barry Hines, the author, was a teacher at my school for a while. Anyone who ever had a PE/Football lesson with Mr Hallam will know exactly where he got the inspiration for the Mr Sugden (Brian Glover) character.

So basically my PE teacher was the guy from Kes!

Brian glover is (as ever) fantastic as Mr Sugden!!

All though his performance has left me with a deep seated fear of PE teachers!! I bet you made a piont of NEVER forgetting your kit with him,eh Peter?
