A young father is in mourining tonight and some baby twins are motherless after she declined a blood transfusion.Apparently in the bible it says something about it.Medics tried to get her to change her mind but to no avail.Another waste of a life to religeon..mankind is so so stupid......

Can anybody out there quote me where it says in the bible:
...And thou shalt not give thine blood that I have bequeathed thee exclusively or whatever peotic way it is put in "the good book"
I read the bible growing up and though I know of this there is a lot of bull shit I've heard over the years with regards to gods so called laws and things like this.
God forbids eating meat without first draining the blood. Many JWs have needlessly died because the governing body considers blood transfusions to be "eating blood."
The Bible does command to: "abstain from blood"

And any man from the house of Israel, or from the aliens who sojourn among them, who eats any blood, I will set My face against that person who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people
Leviticus 17:10
Thats the bollocks^^

Is it it the text or the way its interpreted
Seesm to me a lot of these extreme views come from writings that have a multitude of possible meanings
Almost like trying to fathom out Nostradamus's predictions

but does that that mean the blood that has left the body should not re-enter the body
a 3rd parties blood has never been in your body
so...you get the drift
clear as mud
for the record I've never been silly enough to read any of these texts
as my old footy coach said...keep it simple and use your common sense

Therefore, could this JW chap be tried for the death of his missus. maybe not. I'm sure he must be experiencing his own pain mourning the loss of his wife.
Either way, I'm sure the eyes of the world are upon him and probably not so forgiving in light of the circumstances and certainly not a good advert for recruiting into the Jehovahs Witness cause.
Then again that may have been the plan. To undermine the credibility of a religious sect.
