This was the guy who was convicted of killing Polish student Angelina Kluk, and interring her body in a church in Glasgow.

He's banged up in Peterhead Prison, but appeared in court in Livingston a few days ago charged with the murder of Vickie Hamilton. Police have been searching anywhere where Peter Tobin lived since Ms Hamilton vanished, in the hope of ending her family's pain and finding her. They have succeeded. He will no doubt appear in court next week (don't know whether it will be in Scotland or England) charged with Dinah's murder.

The Fred West analogy doesn't hold up, since West didn't move around the country. But having the Gloucester constabulary as guests for his sex parties, he didn't really need to.

As for Ms Kluk, what lovely luck she had. Coming to Scotland, a place she loved, and being letched over and sleeping with an alcoholic priest, getting involved with a married man who wasn't going to leave his wife (all three of them were cited by Tobin's defence team as possible killers of Angelina), then being raped and murdered by a piece of shite.
