It's already been mentioned----big German companies, particularly the industrialists whose factories would be under threat from worker unrest, saw in Hitler and the Nazis the perfect solution to Communist infiltration and therefore bankrolled them. And I'm sure they all got a good return from their investment once the armed forces were needing supplied.
