Yet another story that screams out for front page coverage gets a tiny snippet in the foreign news sector(At least in Australian papers)

I think I now get a pretty good idea of what the dark ages were like

Is it not slightly obscene that with the shit in the world one bloke has a personal fortune of over 20 billion quid....if you cant do some good with that amount of money then you dont deserve to be on the planet...

Yeah nothing like good old fashioned justice meted out in Saudi Arabia innit?

How dare she speak out and be upset for being gang raped by six mugs. Sod the courts this girl should saddle up a posse of 12 angry chicks with base ball bats and anally rape those guys back and while they're at it kick their nuts in for good measure.

I think this is more suitable eye for an eye justice Saudi Arabia recognises.

A nice idea, but given that Saudi Arabia doesn't allow women to drive I suspect that vigilante action against the superior sex would result in public beheading . . . if not that most liberal of punishments, stoning to death.

Saudi Arabia is the great example of the hypocrisy of western morality. The US, UK etc go to war against the evil of Saddam's Iraq, the disgusting Taliban regime of Afghanistan and threatens North Korea, Syria and Iran for their actions. And yet we turn a blind eye to what happens in Saudi Arabia, from whence most of the 9/11 bombers emerged, from whence Osama bin Laden emerged.

Oh, and 16 years after the liberation of Kuwait, is there any sign of democracy there? I don't know, that's why I'm asking.
