Here's a tip Bernie, get your wallet out and give some back to a sport that has given you everything, most of formula one is governed controlled and developed from this country, the engineering and design are all based close to the circuits here, but Bernie thinks the government should fund the rebuilding of Silverstone, so he threatens (every year actually) to take it elswhere. There used to be a series in this Country Buttsie called 'Aurora GP', it was basically a mini GP season, but just using circuits in this country, I went to many of them, they were excellent and a great day out, dont know where it all went, I guess money had something to do with it.

You just need to convince local authorities that its good for tourism and the money invested will be recouped

The sad thing about the F1 GP circus is that very few people actually make any money apart from those selling booze and renting out accomodation

Renting out your house at AUS600-00 per person for a 4 day stay
because there was no other accomodation showed how narsissistic we had become

Given the Ecc's reputation, the organisers of the events are probably propping up motorway flyovers these days.
