Always liked Sixx when Motley Crue were good, ie before Dr Feelgood. Just got the above book at a bargain tenner at HMV, its a brilliant read about his total addiction to heroin.
I'm up to March 1987, how he got past January 1987 is beyond me.
Recommended !thumbsup!

Just born with great genes or the book is exaggerating for effect
How diid most of the junky/rockstars survive the 60s/70s is more a testament to the human body and its remarkable resilience
We humans must be the ownly species that continues to attack our own bodies all in the name of 'feeling good'

Nikki Sixx is a well known bullshit artist. How long is he going to live off 'dying' back in 1987?
"The Dirt" was largely exxagerated for effect? Just ask John Corabi. Neil Strauss made aspects of his parts more 'rock and roll'.

I know Nikki is/was a control freak and does gloss over some of his stories, but still a great song writer in Crue's early days.
However you look at it, its a bargain buy at a tenner in hardback at HMV, and I'm enjoying reading it
