Ok, this show is on ITV2 now. Never watched it before.

Who the fuck is that..........nightmare kid with the white hair? He looks like a ventriloquists dummy.

You are watching ITV in any way, shape or form? Definite sign of mental illness.

Voluntarily watching the X Fuckoffcowellyouutterwankstainbastard? Someone phone the police!

But people liked Robson, Sarah and the Kemp in soaps, so they must be good. And ITV paid them ridiculous money to ensure exclusivity.

We still get repeats from the golden age of ITV drama----the early Brett Sherlock Holmes stories, for example. But can you imagine it commissioning something as well cast, acted and directed as The Jewel In The Crown these days? Even less critical successes, like Lost Empires and Game Set And Match are head, shoulders and 1500 foot ladder above the sort of fare presented these days.

An occasional one-off made for TV film (Housewife, 49, for example) might still show it is capable of producing quality, but there's no will to do it. Upstairs Downstairs---who will you vote out of the Bellamy household?

I'm with you on that. Cannot stand Green, and the atrocities those two released as music---argh!

That's what's wrong with the ITV thinking. They are looking for vehicles for their stars rather than marrying the material with the right actors.

But I want nothing your society's got.

Night-night, Magoo. Night, Buttsie.
