No problem, BB. It's a village called Kenmore on Loch Tay, in Highland Perthshire. Very beautiful part of the country.
Oh, and if you are a stalker, I'm sorry to disappoint, but I don't live there, though there are times I wish I did.

Incidentally, any recommendations would be gratefully received. There are huge swathes of this island I haven't visited and would hope to some day.

I've been there! Its all Schist it really is.......lovely little spot.
I've just driven from Leek to Bakewell via a B road along the Manifold and Dove Dales in the Peak District lovely landscape and really great road!
