McLeish has decided Birmingham City is a better job than managing Scotland. Hopefully, we'll get someone in who can build on the good work done by Walter Smith and Eck. The main name being put forward is Gary McAllister.
Please, please, please no to:
Billy Davies
Graeme Souness
Jimmy Calderwood (numpties to a man).

Even assuming we wanted him.
Leave Levein alone. He's doing fine where he is

No apology needed. I couldn't get McClaren's name right.
What Levein has done with very little is almost miraculous. He was an excellent player whose career was cut short by injury. Scotland could do a lot worse than opt for him.
Reporting Scotland's guy outside Hampden (not Chick the Prick) was pushing McAllister's name quite hard, saying he just missed out on getting the job last time out.. We'll see.
It worries me that the chief executive of the SFA, Gordon "sitter" Smith, is a former team-mate of Billy Davies and a close friend.

The Ecky Thump is what he's likely to get next time he visits Hampden.

What about the good work done by Bertie Vogts? Underrated.
What about John Collins, Roy Aitken ?
