I loved the corrupt fucker! I sat glued to the TV watching his jumps. Eddie Kidd was better, but Evel was the first.
I nagged my parents for the Palitoy model for Christmas in 1975 where Evel 'flies through the air' and after we got bored of playing with it on Boxing Day, we put Evel through his paces with a MASSIVE NEVER DONE BEFORE JUMP where he left the roof of the 20 storey apartment block where we lived in Hong Kong to the next block, some 30 metres away.


Evel failed............miserably.



I saw one of these toys on ebay at a small fortune, you can double it now he's gone.

Wonder if they'll fire the coffin over a row of buses? Surely it's what he would've wanted.
