"Bubbly kate has had an unfortunate last few races with her last resulting in a nasty injury.

After inspection it turns out its not too serious - a torn back muscle - but she will make a full rcovery and be back in the new year to defend her title.

Bubbly legend runs live on sky TV tonight from Romford in his maiden 575m.

My sis and her fella have three racing dogs: Casper (who the nephew calls Wasspie), Perry and Sam- Casper is a former champ, well bred, but is just back from injury. Her man even built them a big hut with central heating for them- he might put in Sky Digital next, let 'em gen up on the current form of rival pooches, !wink!

The dogs are a great night out, went to the races a few weeks back for one of the lads' birthdays.

Hope it goes well, keep us up to date with how Bubbly and the recovering champ go.
