Right just want to suss out opinion on what you think of:

1. Pet Shop Boys;

2. Erasure.

A Pet Shop Boys vs Erasure preference would be desirable too! Cheers, me ol' OT brigands.

I'll chip my 2p into this 'un later.

Not a fan of either, I'm afraid, but PSB get some credit for working with Marr and Summers on Electronic.

I lie thyem both too- like the soaring fluctuating subtleties of Erasure, and love thr dramatic punchy synths of PSB.

Compared to modern-day electro, as well-aged as these bands both are, you notice that there is a few 'layers' less where more background, sweeps and elector-bas could be placed.

As for my preference, I'll go with PSB.

Trip down memory lane for me today---the radio was playing It Never Happens To Me by The Assembly (aka Vince and Feargal Sharkey). First time I've heard it in at least 15 years.

Heard some classic Orange Juice with Edwyn Collins last night........ superb, and a reminder that the same guy is in pretty bad nick but taking it on with dignity.
