Just saw the last episode. One of the best pieces of TV all year. The series started off slowly, but by around the 3rd episode it was unmissable, and just got better week on week.
Can't wait for series 3, now he has had his popeye style can of spinach.

Hey
Really, really wish I could have got into this. I think I may have missed summat quite special. Alas I rarely watch TV and as you say it started off very slowly.
Im not a fan of "Super hero" type things but loved the idea of this coming at it from a different angle.
Glad to hear you enjoyed it CJ I hope future series are upto your expectations, sir.
Cheers
BB

Season 2 hasn't finished though Cactus, only about 10 episodes in I think. Do you mean Series 1??
Series 2 has been pretty poor it has to be said and the writers seem to already have run out of believable plot lines, unless it picks up soon I don't even think I will bother with it tbh.

Series 2 finished on episode 11, which was shown on Monday night in the US. Easily found on most bit torrent sites. It ends with 'end of chapter 2', and the start of 'Chapter 3: Villains'

Especially when all the similar like shows all air at the same time
I foolishly chose LOST and have been in a flashback coma ever since
I think an amoeba could outpace that show

Oh right, so Chapter 2 has finished then - but not Series 2 which still has another 10 or 11 episodes to go unless the writers strike put an end to that??
Lost is THE BEST SHOW on the planet Buttsie imho, but it does unfortunately need the viewer to have a bit of patience and a few brain cells enabled to watch it (maybe even check everything they missed on the net) .... but then we get the same viewers complaining about all the Soaps/Sport/Reality TV - where is all the decent quality drama they ask??
No wonder the powers that be take the easy option with all the shite they show as most viewers aren't worth the effort ... end of rant.

Sorry, I don't think I was very clear. It was volume 2, not chapter 2 (they're calling each series a 'volume', like in comic books).
They wrote a shorter series, as they were anticipating the writers strike, and that is all they could manage in time.
Just re-watched the end of series 1 on BBC2, and I thought that one wasn't as good as the end of series 2.

I'm still watching it(to put my comments in perspective)but its like you could fit 3 episodes into 1 if they removed all the filler which keeps the pace of the show at a snails pace
Yes it does take a few braincells to follow the sequences which is its main appeal. It reminds me of several fantasy books I've read where there are so many sub-plots going on you almost need to take notes but as I've only 2 hands I've resisted the temptation
I'm almost tempted to tune out and buy the dvd box set and watch it all in one sitting when it ends which knowing TV executives won't be more than 5 years away

I'm sorry, but Season 2 of Heroes was piss poor. The only decent episodes where 7, 8 and 9.
The begining of the season made me almost give up on the show. The finale was okay. Much better than last years. The cliffhanger was supposed to get me shocked, I suppose. But due to everyone who can get cured by Claire or Murhinder's blood, it really didn't make me jump out of my seat. Same with the Nikki scene. Although the copy cat girl should have been the one in the fire. Just excatly what purpose does she even serve?!?

Ok so I have only watched episodes 1 to 4 of Season 2 and wasn't really impressed, so you guys would recommend sticking with it (might as well as I only have another few episodes to watch I suppose). Seem to remember the writer/creator of Heroes basically apologising for how poor Season 2 had been.
You are right in how poor the ending to Season 1 was - it was almost as if they run out of cash/ideas right at the end and didn't have me gasping for Season 2.
