On the subject of standing up for yourself just the other morning i was on a train travelling into London from Kent when a group of schoolkids who i guess would be aged 16-17 got on at a stop and one of them banged hard on the window before boarding startling the guy who was sitting behind me who was dozing, so with that this guy stood up and confronted them asking what their problem was only to get the normal loud mouthed chavvie abuse from this group who were obviousley trying to impress the one chavvie girl who was with them who was also mouthing off, now im no lightweight but nothing like Jeremy Clarkson's statute but i stood up to back this guy up who i didnt know and then another passenger stood up and with that these arseholes backpeddled into the next carriage still shouting abuse but looking a bit sheepish, no doubt they continued their abuse once in the next carriage to the annoyance of the other passengers, but there are times when you just have to stand up but bear in mind a girlfriend of mine drives the night buses in London and a few weeks ago at about 4am in the morning when a row started on the top deck and a guy who tried to intervene was severely beaten up so bad in fact that he was ambulanced away and the bus had to be taken out of use because of the ammount of blood but im afraid i am a bit like this poor guy if i see someone in trouble i just cannot sit there and do nothing otherwise the chavvies would be ruling the world.

I'm also like that. I've witnessed chavs trying to cause aggro and I've stood up to these chavs and prevented them from doing their evil acts.

It's very interesting to note that chavs are perfectly prepaired to dish out violence, mayhem and destruction against us, but they certainly don't enjoy being on the receiving end of our pro-active defence against them.
