A great film Stevie.
Hoffman as 'that runny little bastard' is fantastic as Ratso Rizzo.

Hoffman is amazing full stop, he blows many fellow thespians off screen (fnarr fnarr) but the great roles he used to get usually go to pretty boy fuckers who can't act at all.
I doubt I have seen Hoffman in an 'average film'

Dustin is the Hoff....man! Loved Midnight Cowboy.
Nice to see people liking things for a change around here. Well done Steve for being random. You never know what we wil get out of Steve 56 on a daily basis.
Hoffmans recent triumph is a movie called Perfume. A modern classic in my opinion and one of the years best films even in a supporting performance.

And with it's famous theme tune.
It is true that the all the dialogue is improvised?

That would have made one RANDom film, T!!
Maybe they read a script and improvised around that.

I recall Hoffman saying that the scenes - the outdoor one's at least - were totally improvised.
