The amount of people employed in UK's public sector is now larger than the total population of Norway !!
As a country we want a large public sector...............don't we ?

The NHS is currently engaged in a huge recruitment drive. Who are they recruiting? Doctors? Nurses? Medical staff? Cleaners? Catering staff? Porters? Nope. They're looking to employ masses of administrators, clerical staff, resource staff and managers at all different levels.
