He should have gone to Chelsea when he had the opportunity.

Much as i hate the scousers, its out of order when someone robs your home. Some people have no respect for anything. I think sooner or later he will be on his way, im sure his wife will see to that, as if shes gonna resist the lure of London.

It's getting to the stage where everytime Liverpool play a high-profile midweek match, being shown on telly, some scum move in to burgle a player's home. How long until someone says, "I can't play Wednesday, boss, I'm house-sitting."

So what you're saying is the crime is the fault of the victim, yes?

Perhaps we'll have the ideal society when we are all safe in gated communities.

... probably Everton fans I would imagine - I wonder if they wait to read the team sheet before they "plan" their next job??

>So what you're saying is the crime is the fault of the victim, yes?

I get annoyed when I am made to feel it is MY fault if something of mine is stolen.

When I drive into my local Sainsbury's car park there are signs everywhere saying "Hide it or Lose it".

Why not signs to the thief saying "Nick anything and you get 10 years"

I went into a local school for an evening class the other day.

It had a large poster on a wall showing two teenage girls in broad daylight on their mobile phones. The words said something like "Dont make yourself a target for thieves".

So we are saying if you are using your phone during the day in a public place it is your fault if it gets nicked.

Lets throw it back at the bastards who steal things.

No, they aren't blaming the victims, they're saying 'theft is an unfortunate fact of life, so don't make things easier for them.'
