Your Italian mates are stuck in the past,blinded by winning their first trophy in 24 years no doubt.
To prove the point about how foreign managers are worthwhile Australia Rugby Union just appointed a Kiwi(New Zealander)as head Coach....unthinkable for many locals(nationalistic nutcases)
The article reporting relates perfectly to England new Manager
If Australia wants to again be No. 1 in the world of rugby, they must have the No. 1 available coach. And Deans is that. He has the credentials, knows how to generate success, as shown by him making the Canterbury Crusaders the most dominant force in Super rugby, and understands how imperative it is in having a positive, healthy team culture.
As crucially, Deans is an outsider and, unlike recent Wallabies coaches, doesn't come with any baggage. He doesn't owe anyone favours and is not aligned to any of the factions which have so often disrupted Australian rugby.
He can look at the problem with fresh eyes, treat all the players as equals, and end the situation where several Wallabies, who were well past their due date, were unfairly given preferential treatment because of past deeds.
And Deans won't put up with the nonsense that has seen some key Wallabies believe they are bigger than the team environment. A thriving, competitive Wallabies culture, rather than an overriding sense of laziness that hindered the team during its recent flawed World Cup campaign, is inevitable under the Deans regime.

International coaches are used in football, rugby, cricket, ice hockey, pro-celebrity kitten huffing......
It's nothing new.
There will always be jokes about anything new or different like how the fastest way out of Wembley was the Southgate, like how Darwin walked into the police station and said he'd never go on holiday with the McCann's again.
What are they going to do when we win something?
