I'm sure I read somewhere in the last few days that CdB is doing a concert in Iran. Isn't there normally a declaration of war before hostilities break out?

Max Romeo's "Wet dream" was definitely banned. The title says it all really.

in Germany there was Falco's "Jeannie" that caused a huge stir 20-odd years ago.
That was basically a song about a girl that has fallen victim to a sex-attacker, sung from the perspective of that attacker. The video ended with Falco in a straight-jacket in a padded room.
Some excerpts of the lyrics (translated):
Your lipstick is smeared.
You bought it, and I saw that.
Too much red on your lips.
...and another bit:
I hear them coming.
They have come to get you.
They won't find you!
You are with me!

The song "Give Ireland Back to the Irish" by Paul McCartney was banned
When Sgt Pepper by the Beatles came out the BBC refused to play "A day in the life" because of the line "he blew his mind out in a car"
Surprisingly the song Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds (LSD) off the same album was NOT banned by the BBC
