You left the water running

Hey
Please forgive any typo's here but i'm afraid I am very drunk.
In Nick Hornby's "High fidelity" (a book I recomend you read btw) he has the chance to buy a copy of Otis Redding's "You left the water running" and then starts to explain that it was pulled to due to a complaint by Redding's widow. But he never actually tells you why she complained and had the record pulled.
I don't suppose any one knows why do they?
Cheers (burp)
