As I said to Phil below, it is easy to copy a DVD, even easier to make a VCD. But legal ?????

I visited a fair and brought something good for a tenner on DVD, It is good too, BUT came complete with a virus, so do beware!!

In my past life as tech support for a certain Mr Gates, we would always get "idiots" who bought software from these places, and the software always came with a black eye patch and skull and crossbones.

Cheap it is, nasty it is and certainly causes more pain in the long run.

Be aware that quality will be pretty naff, no money back guarantee, and think of all the poor producers, and retailers who will be without their wedge.

Whilst I agree that the producers are left short and that you can inadvertantly create a virus, I dont agree that 'idiots' buy the software. These DVD's/CD Roms are brought in good faith from reputable computer fairs, not some bloke in a pub. You might feel idiotic after when rebooting your PC, but its not idiotic to buy, especially saving a few quid.
