I watched the 1967 original version of 'Casino Royale' today. Utterly insane- and the ending is given away at the beginning if you can read the 'code'- but typical late Sixties nonsense.

In one scene-don't ask- Orson Welles' character blows up a man in a Berlin phonebox. Very pyrotechnic and great fun- I watched and thought no more about it.

Clearly some kids in Bristol saw it too- hence tonight:

Good idea in principle Trumpton but there are drawbacks.

1. I doubt very much that the military would want "that sort" of person?
2. It would teach the prats how to use weapons, maybe not a good idea?

IMVHO a better, but similar, solution might be to have military run "Boot Camps". Drill disipline into them but without teaching them how to use weapons or self defence.
Better than locking them up for a week or two in nick or young offenders institutions or worse, giving them an ASBO which they view as an honour.

The boot camps could be organised in some far flung place such as the Falkland Islands, South Georgia or South Shetland Isles.
