Watched it on iPlayer last night, in bed.
I thought it was ok, and it left me wanting to watch episode two.

Please can the BBC give us some modern drama? Instead of version 37 of a middle class, women's, fluffy pink and totally uninspiring novel which could be on at 3pm in the afternoon...
How about some really high class productions of Shakespeare? Or groundbreaking SciFi like Quatermass? Or brilliant social commentary like Boys from the Black Stuff or Our Friends in the North??
When was the last time we had a show of the sheer class of Smiley's People or Edge of Darkness?
Instead of paying batty boy Norton or Mr Woth ?3m a year each sign up some great actors and give the licence payer value for his ?135 a year.

I think the last time they did a Jane Austin drama, it was 1995. I was 19 and I was too busy playing chicken with chlamydia and horny girls. I won everytime.
It's only an hour a week and they have more channels now, so I can't see how you can complain.

Agreed about 4od. A right bastard to uninstall as well. Since me full reinstall I won't be downloading that again.

It's a a stealth torrent-style streaming product - once you download a file to your PC, it uses your internet bandwidth to upload it to others and this runs on your machine 24/7 unless you manually configure the services it installs to do otherwise.
