Every time you visit the promo forum, it ends in tears.

Usually for Rabbit Warren and sometimes Dibble, Caradog. But never for Sam.

No, the promo forum is a bad place, and wee Sammy has been told to stay out---but he never listens, and gets pulled into rows by Wonderful Horny trolls usually. This time, he wandered in with his eyes wide open without the help of the second coming of the sad wrestling fan.

Its become a psuedo forum for the industry hasn't it?
Wiser heads keep saying, air your dirty laundry/grievances away from us punters
maybe if a few understood the saying
'revenge is a dish best served cold'
there would be more debate & less personal abuse?

I seriously think the nature of people over there means they cannot take criticism, even in it's most diluted form. It's ridiculous and bordering the insane.
We're like geese in that we make a lot of noise, we can bite and flap our wings a bit, but the Promo forumites are like Guinea Pigs - they start squealing at any approach.

If only they'd pay attention to the posts in here that say, "I haven't bought anything in about a year," and realise the damage their negative sniping is doing to the industry.
The pissing on lamp-posts to mark their territory and prove they are the top producing dog may seem like the right thing to do, but they're also pissing off the buyers.

My eyes are always wide open mate. I need no shoving from trolls. They just can't debate over there. An alternative opinion -right or wrong- just leads to virtual war.
It just makes me look like a trouble causer because I'm not a nodding dog that just agrees with everything they say, nor stroke their egos.
It's mental.

Which is why the place is best avoided.
The occasional thank you for a posting of pics is about all I do over there. It's wiser that way.

To be honest all the cattiness doesn't influence me one way or the other
If the product is quality(lighting, editing, performers)then its in the ball park
So I take it you haven't got 8.01.08 marked down as the 2nd coming then?
