Could be your ISP, your lucky, some ISP's will only give you a handfull of newsgroups.
You are better off emailing your ISP.
I was told that newsgroups cost ISP cash, and so prefer to give you less, rather than more.
It would be interesting to know how much people use newsgroups, as most people who use the net, I bet, do not know about them, and ISP,s do not seem to mention them at all on there home pages, you have to seach for info to load them.
Good luck.

Silly me, I think you meant the newsgroup using the web based version (ie htlm) rather than using outlook express (have you used outlook express for newsgroups?).
I would guess that its an intalian web business that runs this web based version.
I guess the question is, is there any english firms that do the same thing or a free way you can log on via outlook express without having to log on with another ISP.
Freeseve used to give you a huge list of newsgroups.

Surely it's because you're not paying a newsgroup subscription?
Try registering with , nospambritbabes included, about ?7 a month and all the porn you can possibly download.

I've used Freeserve in the past and they do have a news server and asccording to their own website they still do.
It doesn't matter what your ISP news service is like though a third party News Service is just that, third paty. Connect to them with a news client using your normal internet connection and you are away.
