Let's see. She's been doing drugs and alcohol, has been acting nuttier than an overfed squirrel---so she must be bipolar. Drugs have nothing to do with it.
"Sorry about my driving, occifer, but I'm as bipolar as a newt."
Drugs and alcohol are a choice, initially. If you carry on with them, they are a crutch. And finally they become as essential as breathing. No bipolar shite, please. Unless someone forced drugs or alcohol on to you, the consequences of taking them are with you and you alone.
Your defence of the troubled celebs is repetitious, Tarquin, and seems to take all responsibility for their behavious out of their own hands. Are they incapable of making decisions?
And however many bipolars you throw into the argument, Russell Brand is still an untalented, unfunny waste of space.

If you read the links one helluva lot of people think she is biploar. She takes drugs because she is bipolar not the other way round.

I look forward to robbing a bank, bombing ITV, murdering the Queen, then telling the judge, "It's okay, matey, I'm bipolar."
Change the fucking record! Does free will exist or not?
And do you get a hard-on every time you see the word bipolar?

Actually, if you read into it more, bipolar disorder is so bloody vague it could account for 90% of the population. Doesn't even the most stable person range from extreme joy to thoughts of suicide at our lowest ebb?
@ Arch/Olay We're all bipolar, because to be 'unipolar' would mean we'd be preprogrammed robots.
Newsflash: World is Bipolar!
There, I said it. No one else left; and no need to mention it again! Wooohooo!

It is not so fucking vague. If you took the trouble to study it there are precise criteria to distinguish it from about 20 other possible conditions. There are even about 4 varieties of bipolar.

And there's another hard-on.
I notice you're still not answering the big question here on responsibility? Or can all our negative decisions be given a careful, psychological get-out clause? Miners' strike confrontation: political power battle or Maggie going through the change? 9/11: declaration of war on western life and culture, or bin Laden trying to compensate for having a small penis? The holocaust: attempted genocide or Adolf feeling a wee bit bipolar for several years?
Oh, wait. None of them are celebs or druggies, so they can't play the bipolar card, can they?
Pathetic.
