Gordon Brown is one big arsehole as he claims we are in for a tough year, yes thanks to him as he will squeeze us this year as hard as he can to build up funds for a give away come the next election to try and buy himself back in, well i have news for you arshole Brown its all been done before and you cant fool the people all the time.

Because of his remarks about the economy Sterling is now at an all time low against the Euro and weakening against other currencies and that is why the Bank of England didnt cut interest rates yesterday, Brown has got himself into a muddle as we now import most of our goods therefore a weak pound will make goods more expensive fueling inflation but if interest rates are not cut the economy will probably nosedive.

Also crude oil is priced in U.S. Dollars and at the moment the dollar is also weak but if it rallies against sterling this will push the price of oil up in the U.K. further fueling inflation. So it appears that Gordon isnt very good at steering the ship and as that other arsehole Tony Bliar once said Gordon will be a disaster for the country, it seems he is being proved right !sad!

Ah yes, the great 1990 General Election, called by Major right after Thatcher was sacked....

Lizard, get your facts right or stop posting. Be a hypocrite and we tear you to pieces.

You wouldn't know where to begin you fucking numpty, your a lightwieght, your not even funny, and as for "stop posting" I was posting on here before you could wipe yer own arse.

Let me once again explain, this is Camerons view and I agree, I suspect he knows a great deal more about politics than you.
read it and TRY and learn.

"Gordon Brown does not have a mandate to run the country, David Cameron has said.

The Conservative leader said Tony Blair is the only member of the Labour party that has been given the right to govern by the British public, and Gordon Brown "will know [this] in his heart".

And the Mr Cameron would welcome the chance for an early general election when Mr Blair steps down in the coming year.

"I would love to have an early election, because it is this government that is putting up the cost of living, that is wrecking the health service, that is failing to reform education, that is sending social mobility backwards," the Tory leader told Today.

"The first step has got to be getting rid of the government."

Mr Blair said he would not stand for a fourth term as prime minister while campaigning in the 2005 general election - but said he would serve a full term.

In September last year, however, the prime minister said he would step down within 12 months, and this means whoever replaces him does not have a mandate, according to the Tory leader.

"Frankly I don?t think that anyone except Tony Blair has a mandate because he said that he would serve a full term in office," Mr Cameron said.

"When he goes, his successor, I suspect Gordon Brown, will know in [his] heart that [he doesn't] have a mandate from the British people."

You used to write sense then. How the years change.

Cameron went to Eton and Oxford and so 'learnt' politics in a hothouse environment that money buys. I suspect we all could have his success with his family's money.

Pro-Tory bollocks deleted for sake of boredom....

Allow me to introduce you to the concept of Parliamentary sovereignity and constitutional law.

Major did not hold a General Election after Thatcher was fired- so why should Brown?

The law requires that the General Election be next held not after the late summer of 2010. So we have 2.5 years left before one need be held.

When either [a] that deadline is reached; or when Her Majesty agrees to a request by the Prime Minister to hold an election before then, we shall have one. Until then and not before.

Scotland will, in any event, not tolerate a Tory overlord government. So a Tory government looks like being the one that breaks up 300+ plus yearsd of noble history in Great Britain.

No 'raw' nerves here, just differing opinion's. Planet and my goodself happen to dislike GB, as we dont see him as a suitable competant PM.

Still as long as your happy.

I didn't vote for Blair. I voted for the PARTY which most represented my beliefs in the future. The U.K. system isn't the American system(yet).
