I'm on Firefox and have discovered that I can download some add-ons. One is Adblock Plus. It blocks out those annoying adverts that seem to take forever to download. Has anyone use it? Is it any good?

Thanking in advance.

I think with adblock you can use the preinstalled settings on which urls are blocked, or teach it yourself by right-clicking ads and blocking them. The latter helps stop it blocking stuff you actually want to see. (if it still works this way)

The inbuilt adblocker in Opera works fine for me !thumbsup!

Good.

OK. You see I only have 256 megs processor on my laptop and I'm just wondering whether this piece of software is a heavy resource user?

!oops! Yup, that's right. I realised I'd boobed after I'd pressed the 'post' key.

Btw, what's the difference between total physical memory and total virtual memory?
