may i ak a quick question
i just had to get in touch with the norton/symantec live help site as my subscription which has 3 months left on it all of a sudden said it was expired,so i told the tech guy this and he said it was a technical issue and could he take control/remote access my pc and a box popped up with a padlock on which i hit and sure enough my desktop screensaver changed and the cursor started going here there n everywhere and sure enough after 2 mins he said its all sorted and sure enough it is
so question is how do i know he or anyone else cant accesss it in future just as easy as he did and could he take control of me again now if he wanted or is it that i just allowed access fo so many mins
or am i being paranoid been a pc newbie

If you got a padlock it was secure (you'll find https:// in the address not http:// for secure sites). With a good functioning, up to date firewall and anti-virus you shouldn't have to worry too much.

You can always run a 'Shields Up' test.
