a decent free internet security option
im guessing ill need a firewall/anti virus/spyware protection etc
im using norton internet security at the moment but was not going to renew it if theres anthing equal or better for free that,ll do same job

Have you tried AVG? It's basic but free!

I used comodo firewall, avg anti virus and spyware terminator. All are free downloads and the only unwanted guests I had was from tracking cookies that were easily dealt with. avg and spyware terminator have regular updates as well (daily for avg).

Oh arse! My Steganos AVP won't let me download any of those as it runs contradictory to it's program.
