This brings me to a point that the terms ?left wing? and ?right wing? are so misleading as to be worthless. The true parameters are libertarian and totalitarian and are at the opposite ends of the political spectrum. Contemporary England, for example, is authoritarian with increasing censorship and surveillance and sliding towards totalitarian. Holland on the other hand is the most libertarian country in Europe even though liberties are being lost every year.

Pornography and its availability in an uncensored form is an indicator of liberty and if you live in a country where the citizen is allowed access to it then you are living in a free country.

Hey Mike I'm with you on this topic but you have to ask how much freedom do you allow before it gets abused? Allowing people to frely get access to hardcore material should they wish it does open up other issues of how far do we deem is enough even if it is all consensual.

Who do we elect, if at all, to be the arbiters of this freedom. Some would consider what is allowable through the BBFC is acceptable to them to them right now.

Some have just have discovered they can actually by hardcore porn.

Some people seriously really do need to get out once in a while and go for a walk.
