Are any other formites going to a Third Division Scotch Fitba matches, I am , Mighty Monty-rose against pathetic Dumbarton, I predict a Gable Endies Victory of about ten -nil(I have been on the sauce). Wazza must be close to low league Scotch clubs, but I doubt he supports any of them(he likes Miss. Ice's team(?)
P.s. Zevon
we are going to shaft Stranraer if you are a supporter!

My Scots faves:
Rangers- of course!
Raith Rovers- many WBA links
Dundee United- loved em as a kid
Gretna- amazing they made the Premiership
Inverness CT- ditto.
I look out for them all every week.

Used to go watch East Stirling on a regular basis when I lived down that way. Third Div football is proper football.

Respect to those in Scotland that support anyone other than Rangers and Celtic, unless you live in Glasgow(of course).
A football club is part of your community, local business's depend on these clubs survival. It does'nt matter wether a club has 500 0r 5,000 fans,it's being there that matters.
It's what makes it the beautiful game.Sometimes i wish Abramovich had'nt of bought Chelsea.Getting bored of the winning tbh,not to mention all the Johnny come lately fans we've inherited of late.

Shows how poor Scottish football is. I was watching them struggle in the Unibond League (Div 1) not so long ago.

Bit harsh.I'm neither a fan of Scottish football, but neither do i think it should be wiped off the face of the earth.
Scottish football would be more noticed and competitive if local kids in Scotland supported their local team, instead of vying for Celtic or Rangers because they win things and qualify for the Champions League every season.
That's not what football is about.Peter wrote:

Scottish Division Three. Average crowd 5, including the bloke selling deep fried Tunnocks. Average wage ?3 a week. Win bonus a pint of Heavy.
Standard of Fitba. Unadulterated shite.
Be honest. How can you go and pay money to watch such drivel?
Gretna play crap Fitba and made the Disney Premier League?
Scottish Football is Glasgow Rangers and the Irish Papist Bogtrotting neighbours aka The Diddies. That is it. Have a look when the Diddies play a home game at Diddy Stadium. Crowd 55000+. The entire rest of the SFA games, including even Aberdeen or Hearts v Rangers doesn't make 45000.
Toy town bar 2 teams.
