Sooner or later the acceptability of the drinking-to-excess culture must be questioned. Every weekend, staff at casualty departments, and those who need treatment, are faced with abusive pissheads who often turn violent. City centres can be war zones if someone happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, or is foolish enough to make eye contact with some overly macho wankstain that thiknks masculinity is measured by how much you can drink in a short time.

The women and children of these vicious drunken assaults are largely forgotten by politicians, social services, the courts and the media.

The minister in that report could only offer platitudes and the well-worn, tired old mantra of 'this problem needs to be tackled'. Women and children are living in constant fear of, and in some cases have been victims of murder, by
their drunken husband/partner and father.

Unfortunately the problem of booze and domestic violence will only get worse with more people now choosing to drink at home because of the smoking ban and the cost of getting pissed in a pub, at least down the pub the angry brigade had other pissheads to brawl with whereas at home they only have their family to take it out on.

You can not a portion blame for vicious violent drunken attacks on wives and children on not being able to drink in a pub because of the smoking ban.

So that's why all these Vietnamese are having sex in front of their kids! It's all to do with being unable to have sex in public places like pubs & cafes! If we could only have sex over the table of our local restaurant, we wouldn't have it in the front room while the kids are watching the Looney Tunes!
