Problem parents...

So there's a rise of violence, disrespect and crime in the youth of today. I don't have figures, but on this particular instance, while crime is falling, I think crime in young adolescence is rising.

You've got to look at the parents, surely? Racist parents bring up racist kids, obese parents bring up obese kids, violent parents usually bring up violent kids and paedophiles were usually sexually abused as children themselves.........not a strict rule of thumb, but common enough to be seen as a general rule.

So these parents....

Why the 'I don't give a fuck where my kid is at night, nor care what results he/she gets in their exams' attitude? What conditions and society did these parents grow up in that made them so.........lacking of ambition and hope, when it comes to rearing a family?

How old would the average parent of a 13-18 year old 'problem child' be? 25-35? Born between 73 and 83? Started schooling between 78 and 88? Finishing school between 89 and 99?

Now wait a minute!! That means that 90% of todays parents were reared, schooled, and looked for their first jobs under the Tories. That means that 90% of incompetent parents learnt their life-skills under the Tories.......

Hmmmmmmmmmmm......................

I blame Tony Blair & Gordon Brown.........what do ya say?

I'm reminded of Chris Morris "there is no real scientific evidence, but it is a fact"

You miss my point, Wazza.

If uncle Dibs -or anyone- does have the perception of rising crime among the youth of today, and he agrees with the logic that kids learn nearly everything from parents, schooling and the society they grow up in, then his perception on the Conservative government that these 'problem parents' were raised, must logically change also.

The perception of the former must lead to a perception of the latter.

It was merely something to ponder rather than a statement of fact.
Yes it is!
Oh no it isn't!

If saying 'I think' is a bold statement, then everything's a bold statement, surely?

I totally disagree with you on this..........and lots of other things. In fact, why am I even bothering! We disagree on EVERYTHING!!!!!
