But note the bit at the bottom. The credits always read that the feem toon was by Waterman/Kenny.

It never mentioned which Waterman though.....

Last year I read that ITV were going to do a Minder remake with Bradley Walsh playing the lead role.

They should leave it well alone - perfection can not be bettered.

I agree with all.Minder was quality TV throughout the 1980's,but went downhill after Dennis Waterman was replaced by Gary Webster. So imagine what the remake would be like?.It would never be the same. And as for remaking The Sweeney............SHAAAAAT ITTT!!!!! !grin!.

The Minder series that featured Gary Webster weren't bad - obviously not in the same class as the George Cole and Dennis Waterman era.

The two coppers were quality as well.Chisholm and that Welsh fella, aptly named Jones.

I used to live where Minder was mainly filmed. In Brook Green(West London).

Aurthur's Car lot was a genuine used Car lot and The Winchester was a genuine gentleman's club in Hammersmith.

Chisholm was a brilliantly scripted and brilliantly acted part. Played by Patrick Maldahide (sp?).
